one minor flaw to an otherwise great productMarkThe Alex storage unit is great. It's deep, with plenty of room to store even fairly large items needed near your desk. My only complaint is that IKEA doesn't sell add-on shelves to expand your storage options further and make the Alex more modular. I'd prefer to buy a matching additional shelf from IKEA, rather than cutting another one and requesting the mounting pins. Please consider offering this as another product for purchase.

My only complaint is that I would like to be able to purchase an additional shelf so that I can use the unit a little better. I searched the IKEA website and it seems they don't sell a standalone shelf so that you can further customize it.
