Missing wheelsHeatherThis is the most ridiculous thing I’ve experienced with IKEA. The drawer does not work without wheels. One wheel is included. What in the world? You must purchase additional wheels separately- which isn’t noted when in store! I do not live close to IKEA and only went in store per a work trip. Now I have an item I can’t use UNLESS I purchase an additional item to make it work properly, AND now I have to pay shipping!!!! Ridiculous!!! Make it make sense????
Read the Good to Know section before adding to cart, It needs extra wheels sold separately!RitaLiterally just got this delivered after three weeks and sat down to put it together only to find when looking through the directions I appeared to be missing four wheels. Came on here to check out if it came with four more wheels and it turns out no, it does not. You have to order the set of four wheels it needs to work separately and I missed that part somehow. It comes with one wheel, one. What is the purpose of that? If you put that on the front drawer the whole unit is going to sit at an angle. Just sell all five wheels the unit needs with the unit.
terrible design with the one wheel.Korysuch a failed design!!! It doesn't come with the 4 wheels you need to use it. It is packaged and sold separately. Usually thats fine when wheels are an optional add on...but you CANNOT use this item without buying the extra 4 wheels....why? Because the one wheel it does come with(i guess for the drawer to open?) with will simply not fit without the drawer being on 4 wheels.... I wanted this as a stand alone drawer without wheels...I thought fine, I simply won't attach the one wheel it comes with for the file drawer. so it will be flush with the floor...Nope! the drawer scrapes the floor when you open it. A terrible, flawed design, especially when you have to buy 'add on wheels'
Surprising miss on designDeborahI purchased this as the perfect printer stand and file holder to go with the matching desk. When I purchased it, I looked at the overall dimensions. However, the INTERIOR of bottom draw is just ever so slightly too narrow for files. I have to store them on an awkward angle. Would have been such a small, totally easy adjustment on design. Wish I didn't purchase it.
