Looks great and easy to installDavidThe product itself was very easy to install, and looks great. The handle works well to open and close the door. Packaging was an issue though, as we had the product shipped to our home, and the mirror was completely smashed from top to bottom since there is only very thin one layer of cardboard wrapping the product. A replacement was sent and it arrived unbroken fortunately.
looks goodCrisLooks good, but was an install problem. The door is heavy, and to stop it from slamming shut it requires 4 soft close hinges.

Don't let the bad reviews hold you back!ElizabethI paused on my custom Pax order for a bit due to reviews saying the new models are flimsy, and these mirror doors had some especially bad reviews. However, I am delighted with my purchase! The mirror doors seem to be of excellent quality, sturdy, and mine have no distortions in the glass and they arrived in tact. Would buy again!

With the old style I drilled through the glass with a diamond bit and attached my own handles. Wtf am I gonna do now. Please bring back the Vikedal mirror doors.
Falls apart after a monthDustinBought 3 of these and after a month the hinges were falling out of the assembly. Just small plastic grommets holding it into an aluminum frame. I tried tightening them but at that point the plastic was deformed and no saving it. Then the rest started to do the same thing.
These new Aheim mirrors are worse than a $5 locker mirror! Trash! Anonymous reviewerBecause my complete Pax system was destroyed in hurricane helene, I placed an order for the exact closet system that I had purchased last may. When it arrived, I immediately noticed the decrease in quality. Although the Pax box system is supposedly easier to install it is flimsy. It is less heavy, the Finish isn't as good. And the mirrors! Omg! They are complete TRASH! So cheaply made, they clatter when you close the doors, they are framed with aluminum all the way around and they no longer look even close to high end. I was able to upgrade the door pull on the Vikdal and now they have created a place for a cheap silver tiny pull. I am livid. I had plans for an Ikea kitchen but the quality in the "new pax" system has changed my mind. I never used ikea before this closet system and Pax 1 changed my mind. I was an Ikea convert. Not anymore. You have reset my expectations back to a cheaply made disposable furniture company again. Goodbye. Adjo.
COMPLETE TRASHAnonymous reviewerWhat are you thinking IKEA!? Why would you fix some thing that is not broken?? The quality of this packs and in particular these mirror doors are complete TRASH. I have probably purchased a dozen taxes in my lifetime. They have gotten progressively worse, but this latest edition is abominable. Just compared to the one that I purchased two years ago, the store is so cheaply and poorly made. The inside is a cheap flimsy plastic (dollar-store-worthy) instead of a nice smooth piece. The handle is rough metal with burrs, instead of a nice smooth hardware handle. The quality is just so unspeakably bad. It’s no wonder IKEA’s numbers are in the toilet. If I didn’t already assemble the PAX (which is also horrible flimsy quality) I would return all of this. This will be my last PAX purchase EVER. SHAME ON YOU IKEA for ruining a great thing.

Definitely a sorry replacement for the previous mirror doors.EugeneI want to echo the words of the previous reviewer. These are a worse version of the previous iteration of these doors. The old ones had glass glued straight onto the front for a firm hold, while the new version comes with a flimsy metal frame around the back, which I suppose, is meant to secure the mirror but does the complete opposite. The mirror is loose and rattles inside the frame - which is incredibly annoying. Furthermore, the metal framing creates corners on the back that render using the door stopper caps ineffective. The new built in handle is also not for everyone and it would be better to have options. You can live with the handle, but the rattling and flimsy construction is just unacceptable.

A sorry replacement for the previous mirror doorsBrennanI can’t find a reason IKEA decided to make these doors worse. I’m super frustrated because I had to wait to build my PAX closet a few pieces at a time due to Covid shortages. I have one set of the Vikedal doors (previous version of these). I wanted to buy two more sets to make a matching wall of mirrored doors but because these look completely different they don’t match.
These doors rattle because they’re made of cheap aluminum rather than wood like the previous doors. The old doors close smooth and silently.
The hardware is way cheaper looking. They also just leave the aluminum shavings inside the doors so when you flip one over for the other side of a double door it has shavings all over.
There’s also digital printing on the back which looks so cheap. The only positive thing I can say is, the hinges lined up with the closet peg holes perfectly. So they’re still precise. But everything else is just so much worse.

The aluminum perimeter frame is sturdy and has a nice modern appearance. With the mirror, the door serves 2 purposes! Other than being a little on the expensive side, they are great!

Disappointed - hinges don't line upAdelineNominal 29" x 79" pax cabinet. Door on one side is standard 19" door other side is the Aheim (20414829). After installation noticed that the center hinge on the Aheim is one notch lower than the regular door. This blocks out 2 holes where I cannot place a pull out item. Why would a company that values standardization make such a carless mistake! Also mirror was defective and had random brown spots
Elevated my hall space MarthaI’m really happy with my purchase and these mirror closet doors elevates my hall space. They appear to be great quality. Definitely open the space up.
Rattles when door closesAlbertoEven with the provided rubber bumpers the glass assembly of the door rattles a bit loudly especially when trying to be quiet. Even with the provided soft close hinges you need to close it manually to have it close fully silent to not wake anyone sleeping nearby.
