elec open featureJeremyMine has an "elec open" button on the bottom row. There's no instruction in the manual and I've scoured the internet and can find no way to disable it. I have to press it every time the microwave is done just to open the door.
Challenging InstallMicheleThe microwave seems to run ok. It's much larger than my little countertop model. I see someone else commented that it was a straightforward install in the IKEA cabinets. That was not my experience at all. I purchased an 80" tall by 30" wide cabinet and installed the microwave in the middle with drawers below and doors above. The instructions are incomprehensible. My contractor finally figured it out, sort of, after much trial and error. There was still an awkward gap between the bottom of the upper doors and the top of the microwave so I got a piece of wood to fill it. Seems like that shouldn't be necessary, but I don't know how else you could install it. All in all, a really frustrating experience.

It's okayJordanMicrowave is okay. Chose it because it was straightforward to install in the Ikea kitchen cabinets. Quality seems lower than a standard ~$150 countertop microwave. Doesn't have basic inverter technology like most microwaves do for proper proportional power control. You can hear it cycling on/off to achieve the target duty cycle. Also the stainless steel front panel is prone to denting with normal finger pushes. Ikea should come up with a better offering, especially for the price.
