Nice product but issues with damaged frame - twiceKimberlyLove the final product but it took two trips to an IKEA store an hour away to get a frame that wasn’t damaged. First frame was irreparably bent. Which perfectly reflected a huge hole in the box that was there when it was delivered. IKEA customer service was very helpful but the in-store replacement process was tedious. Second frame was quickly installed but final leg could not be screwed-in because the weld in that corner was off. Drove one-hour each way back to IKEA to go through the lengthy in-store replacement process all over again. (Each time they took the frame from an unopened box of the same loveseat.). While at the store we tested the third frame to ensure it would work. FINALLY drove the hour back and finished building the loveseat. Pleased with final product. Looks great in our daughter’s first apartment. Each step along the way IKEA team members were understanding and helpful. Quality control needs a lot of work. 3
Applaryd loveseat — we love it!StephenWe love our new Applaryd loveseat. It was reasonably priced, easy to assemble, and is very comfortable. It fits our space beautifully.5
Exceptional style & qualityDarrenI bought this loveseat after seeing it at the Conshohocken store. I am replacing a West Elm “Olive” sofa I have only had since February. The West Elm sofa was poorly tailored, wobbly, and uncomfortable. I even had to replace the legs and mounting hardware because the legs were so crooked! When I saw this loveseat I wasn’t even looking for one, but couldn’t believe the comfort, style, and quality for the price! It was delivered today, and took me less than 30 minutes to fully assemble. It’s beyond sturdy, and comfy, and my husband loves it! 10/10 highly recommend…oh! And I’m an Interior Designer…take my word for it!5
I don't recommendNevinWe have been using this sofa since 7 months and it has not been comfortable for my family. I have lower back pain and this sofa does not support my back. Also, legs are not stable. I would like to return it ,but unfortunately IKEA's 365-day return policy says that is valid for new or unopened items. IKEA should clarify 365-day return policy better. I have to keep a sofa that I am not comfortable to sit.2
GREAT sofa - BAD assembly experience!LindaWhat others have said about the arms being difficult to install is 100% correct - the TaskRabbit guy had to drill out one of the holes on each side so they would line up! Ridiculous - not what you expect from IKEA!4
Great sofa!DarrenPicked this up to replace older sofa. Super easy to put together and really comfortable.5
Beautiful sofa. Love the velvet.VirginiaBeautiful sofa. Love the velvet.5
Firm, beautiful couchDavidAssembly was straightforward, although you need two people (and attaching the sides takes some muscle). The color is beautiful, the fabric soft and it is a very firm seat and back, which is what I wanted. (you do NOT "sink" into this couch).5
The Good, the bad & the uglyHolgerThe Good: Its a very very good looking sofa!
The bad: The seat depth is not made to lounge or to curl up if you are over 5'8" tall. You basically sit straight like on a wooden chair with no ability to get your legs up in a lounge position. It needed 3+" more seat depth.
The ugly: the back cushions are rock hard and sit straight up. There is no give and they are not curved to give lower back support and because of the narrow seat depth you can't add a cushion for lower back support. Could have easily been fixed with a softer fill material. Also the back cushions are unnecessarily thick further reducing the seat depth,.
The verdict: its a great looking sofa for your waiting room or any other place where you don't want to make anyone including yourself too comfortable. it's a shape cause some minor adjustments in the design could have made this a killer sofa.2
I love this!MichelleI find this couch very comfortable, it's quite large, but if you have the space for it, I think it's worth it. I love how deep the space is. I've had it for several months now, and it's great. feels very sturdy, and nothing is coming apart. I love this couch.
I got it in blue ( not my first choice, but what they had available.) The color grew on me, making my space feel very homey.5
Beautiful sofa!PredragI bought this love seat and side seat to create sectional sofa!
It is soooo great and comfortable!!!
If you’re thinking to buy it please do you will not regret!5
OK but not greatAnonymous reviewerIt's a very god looking couch, however, it's not very comfortable. The back cushions sit very upright so your back are not supported. The seat cushions are not very deep and have this curvature which makes you feel you are sliding down.3
Overall GoodCandaceThis sofa is beautiful and fairly comfortable. The big problem is the fabric seems to stained easily. My granddaughter spilled mineral water on it and it led to a white stain. I quickly cleaned it off with a damp cloth and that left a dark blotch. I would not recommend this sofa for people with small children. I love the couch, but I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends because most people I know have children or pets. I don’t think it’s made for heavy use.4
It is the perfect sizeCynthiaIt is the perfect size and style for us. We preferred a white sofa but the navy works and is more practical5
sleek contemporary pieceXuanyuThis sofa is sleek, comfortable, easy to maintain. The dark blue velvet color is rare & elegant. Hope to see more IKEA products that combine convenience with quality & thoughtful design.5
Refined!JaycelynThis is a beautiful loveseat. It was challenging to assemble but once assembled, it was worth the struggle! It is firm and presents itself as modern and high end.5
