the worstSarah"Pure cotton that feels soft and nice against your skin." LIES. I regret purchasing this so much. I absolutely HATE it. It's rough and uncomfortable.1
Clean AppearanceAmyI LOVE it! It makes my room look brighter and the bed looks so inviting. It just gives me that fresh, clean, cozy vibe from the look of it!!!5
Super rough and thin!LindseyI’ve bought duvets from here before and found them to be good quality. Not only was it rough the color was way off from photos. Will be returning1
Goes great with multiple sheet setsMelissaI love the color and feel of this set. I got this to match a few different sheet sets and makes the bed look finished and pretty.5
A bit largeMichaelA bit pricey for a low thread count duvet cover. Additionally, it is a bit larger than it’s supposed to be, at least 5-6 inches longer3
Extremely roughJeffreyI found the texture to be rough and caused my skin to itch. I’m returning the two I bought. This surprised me because in the past the duvet covers have been nice.1
Fabric is grittyRebeccaEvery bed in our home has ikea sheets and duvet covers. We love ikea products. I purchased this duvet set and didn’t realize that the fabric quality didn’t match the sample on display until I got home. It feels gritty and almost threadbare in parts. Sadly I washed it in preparation for making a bed and am not sure if I can return it. Perhaps I got a defective set.1
Dreamy, duvet, coverBetsyI love the quality and the softness of this duvet cover.5
This duvet cover is just fineLaurenI really like the color, but Ikea, let's be honest... it's ORANGE. And that's just fine because I wanted an orange duvet cover. The people who think it's itching are pansies and need to try some sheets between the duvet and their bodies. Is it super soft? No. It's more for looks and I like it well enough.5
Pretty color but a little roughConnieBeautiful color. Wish it was a higher thread count.3
Don't waste your moneyAnnaFirst, the product fabric is different than on display and after wash it looked like was removed from my dog's mouth, second many IKEA items is poor quality now, I thought thay they will make same product quality forever but they don't...1
Actually horrendousAvaI purchased this same product 4 years ago and what I received was just horrible. If you buy an IKEA duvet, you are locked into buying their duvet covers because their duvet size is not standard. This is horrible quality. They made the duvet cover size larger for some reason?????? And now the duvet slips and slides around in there. I also have to mention that it is a horrible itchy texture even after multiple washes. I am so disappointed, and I was happy with the one I purchased a few years ago. Every single business seems to think they can charge the same for worse quality as time goes on. It’s so disappointing.1
Would not recommendAna-MariaThe fabric is very rough on the skin, even though I washed it multiple times and used fabric softener.
Curiously enough, though, the one on display was very soft and skin-friendly...2
Very rough BenjaminFeels like a fabric bandage 2
DisappointingLinaBought 2 duvet covers online. Fell in love with the color. But quality is so bad. The material is so rough and scratchy. Somehow get through the night, scratchin and itchin all the time. Can't believe IKEA is selling such a low quality product. I have been buying my bedding there for years but this is the worst. Will return it immediately. Now, if I want to return it online, I have to pay for the shipping. Very disappointing. 1
Frumpy, coarse and uncomfortable SeanJust as the title says, this cover is awful. Never again for Ikea bedding.1
Love my IKEA Angslilja duvet cover!KimberlyI've had my White IKEA Angslilja duvet cover in the full/queen size going on 4 years (yikes) and I can't seem to get rid of it. I personally do not have the lint or itchiness problem others reviewers have experienced- but not sure if the quality of production has changed within the years I've had mine. It's as close to a pure white I could find anywhere at the time and it's upheld its color. I do recommend using a fabric softener when washing, as I do think that has made it a bit softer over time. I paired with one of the cooling IKEA duvet inserts and I literally cannot sleep without it!5
color seems offEileeni thought it would be more of a butter yellow/beige but its very much a cool tone biege rather than warm. disappointed in the color but in terms of the quality of the product, its fine.3
Good priceSharonPurchased this for my son. I thought a little bit rough but he was fine with it. Great value. 100% cotton.4
Cute but itchySarahI love the way my duvet cover looks with my IKEA duvet insert. However, it isn't soft as listed in the description. I've had it for a year now and washed it so many times hoping it'd soften over time, but it doesn't get softer with washes. It's pretty scratchy - a flat sheet is 100% a must with this cover. No ties inside the cover to fasten your insert to (even though IKEA inserts don't provide a way to fasten their inserts to covers). At the time, it was only $29 for a full/queen, so for the price, I think it works just fine. 3
