Generous storage on a narrow space that keeps towels, blow dryer and other bathroom essentials dust-free and out of sight.

The oak effect finish with a natural wooden look transforms the space into a relaxing, at-home wellness retreat. A contemporary expression enhanced with integrated handles, minimizing unnecessary details.

Hinges with integrated dampers catch the door and close it slowly, silently and softly.

You can mount the door to open from the right or left.

This cabinet is to be wall-mounted. This creates a spacious feel but also makes it easier to clean floors underneath. It is also possible to add legs depending on the look you prefer.

The included suspension rail makes it easier to mount the cabinet on the wall. Secure the rail to the wall, then hang the cabinet on the rail and fasten.

Combine with other cabinets in the ÄNGSJÖN series to create a coordinated bathroom solution that fits your space and needs.

The unique wedge dowels make assembly easy and the fittings nearly invisible.

2 legs can be added. They screw on easily thanks to the insert nuts on the bottom of the cabinet. Sold separately.

Too big and bulky VivekI remodel apartments for a living and have noticed that the previous tall cabinets were much more effective, especially in tight spaces. The wider cabinets don’t provide any additional value and now seem a bit office-like and less sleek. Additionally, the construction of the optional legs is subpar compared to the earlier models.3
Great looking useful storageBarbaraOverall this cabinet was a winner. My only trouble was assembly of the door hinge. It was not easy to get the hinge to fit into the predrilled holes, I actually broke out into a sweat. It seems like the hinge was a bit wider than the holes & one I got them in The particle board broke up a bit so hopefully it won't be an issue in the future. The center hinge keeps popping off so I had to order another one because I think I broke it trying to pound it into the hole. That is why I'm nevus assembling the second unit Ive had for a week now. The hanging bar only spans one stud so I decided on adding the legs for support. the cabinet is super heavy & I cannot see how anyone can use this on a wall without additional support.4
Lovely cabinet, awful awful hingesErikI've put together a whole lot of Ikea furniture. Cabinets, TV stands, bookcases, bathroom vanities, you name it. NEVER before have I had such a hard time with hinges. Expanding: This is the 3rd Angsjon wall cabinet I've put together - the other two used the old design of hinges, which were screw-in. These new hinges with the pins that connect to the door are absolute garbage. They don't line up properly, take too much force to insert, and are of course made with the cheapest of pot metal so if you happen to put a bit more oomph on one side than the other, they bend and break. What gives? Why the redesign? The old style of hinges worked great - line them up, pop them in, tighten two screws, and you're off to the races. This is the first time I've ever had anything negative to say about the quality of Ikea products, I sincerely hope it's also the last.2

Handle that is easy to grip

If you take a closer look at ÄNGSJÖN, you’ll soon discover the small details that make a difference to both form and function. Designer Sarah Fager demonstrates how the integrated handle on the cabinets and drawers contributes to the calm feel. “The handle extends across the entire drawer front and cabinet door, making it easy to grip. On the drawer, it’s also facing downwards to not collect dust and dirt.” Sarah has also designed BACKSJÖN sink with clean lines. It goes perfectly together with ÄNGSJÖN. “It’s made of crushed marble, which can be made slightly thinner and neater than porcelain without losing strength. In addition to achieving a light feel, we managed to reduce the weight of the sink compared to previous models. “

Stretch the style with your choices.

Wash-basin, countertop, mirror… depending on your choices, you can stretch and draw the minimalistic style in different directions. The expression will, for example, be completely different depending on if you choose ÄNGSJÖN in a high-gloss white finish or in warm oak. “When asked to design 3 new bathroom series with distinct expressions, I decided to make the ÄNGSJÖN series all about perfection. The fronts align flawlessly within the cabinet frame, and the integrated handles are designed to give a shadow-free and minimalist expression with no unnecessary details. I love how less became more, creating a strong contemporary look. Whether you go for a high gloss finish or a warm wood feel you’re in for an elegant treat."
