Perfect office guest room optionClaireI have a small office / guest room and I chose this because it’s smaller than other options. It was very easy to set up. We also bought the nicer foam topper from Ikea which conveniently stores inside the couch. We’ve had four guests sleep on it, one who is very picky about mattresses, and although it’s a firm feeling, they all said it was shocking comfortable.
Wildly UncomfortableCelinaLooks are deceiving with this sleeper sofa! Safe to sit on ONLY. Sleeping on this is not advised. You’ll wake up feeling like you’ve been in a fight. If you must sleep on it, but ANY type of mattress pad, because anything is better than just the linens. In fact, a mattress pad should be INCLUDED with purchase!

Manufacturing Quality Control IssueTashaThe holes on the back support of the sofa did not match up with the hinges on both sides. The screw holes were not drilled straight either. Two hour drive to return the product at IKEA and a two hour drive home.

Great Design, Terrible Fabric RoyI bought this sofa/bed for my very small bedroom in my tiny home. The design is fantastic. There is plenty of room when in sofa mode for a Japanese Tea Table and there is still about 6" when extended to Full size bed mode. BUT the fabric choice is terrible. It may be tough, but if you brush against it, it feels like sandpaper. A prewashed denim would probably be as durable and have a better texture.

Terrible quality controlJustinLike another 1-star review here, I received the product flawed. The distance between the two hinges didn't match the pre-drilled screw holes in the back panel, making it impossible to complete the assembly. I only managed to make it work by loosening the hinges from the base and maximum rotation within the hole clearance. I'm not sure if this workaround would shorten the lifespan. Very poor quality control!
Great value, great looking, great decision!ClaireI was back on forth on whether to go ahead and buy this sleeper sofa having read some less good reviews. Failing to find a viable alternative with any other stores, I went for it, and am so pleased I did. The assembly was super easy - I did on my own in in about 20 minutes. and it's perfect. My only concern is how the legs will perfom - they're hollow plastic. I will report back in time with how it's wearing up, but as someone who laments the loss of the OG Beddinge sofabed, I think this is going to be the next best option. We shall see.
