Makes it difficult to properly install the cabinets to specifications when even if you lift the product to slot it into place, the legs fall out from the bottom (since you can't slide the product across the floor as they do say the legs will simply snap, good start). Get any other leg for your cabinets-- materials are low quality and should in absolutely no case be the default product leg assigned when using the Kitchen Planner.

Works FineJamesI’ve installed 5 IKEA kitchens without any issues with these legs. These installations included several heavy pantry cabinets. Hang the cabinets on the rails, then install the legs adjusting leg height as necessary to snug them up tight. The legs aren’t meant to support the cabinet when moving the cabinet. Follow the instructions and it will be fine.

Don’t buy unless you hire a professionalMarkJust bought the kitchen Sektion storage and cleaning supplies cabinets today. Looked like a simple build and install. Yet they should’ve advised that is far from that. There’s no way to stand up this cabinet after it’s built without 3 to 4 people and balance it on those legs so that it could be transported into the kitchen space and attached to the wall. They should literally advise people not to buy this unless you have a professional installer. I think it’s wrong and it’s misleading. These legs are not meant of course for the unit to stand on its own, but they also don’t stay in place while you’re trying to put it up against the wall. They fall off easily. The very fact that everybody has told you that on this review space means you should be fixing it now instead of just saying you’ll suggest it to the development team. This Sektion product is so problematic that even their own Taskrabbit service refuses to do assembly for it. Unbelievable.
JunkMichaelThere is no reason these have not been made screw in or more sturdy over the years. It is impossibe to stand a tall cabinet on your own because the legs on push and are not fastened. This is a simple fix to upgrade and shouldve been done a decade ago.

Frankly that this product is still on the market and IKEA is still trying to sell them is extraordinary. These are illegal, and frankly dangerous, suppose it collapses and damages a water or gas line?
That there is no class action against IKEA for this absolute garbage, well, they should be thanking their maker each and every night.

Horrible, no lateral support at allAnonymous reviewerThese are the worst cabinets legs ever. there is no screw fastening to the cabinet. If the cabinet is not totally secured to the wall the legs will pull out of the sockets. This makes installing very, very, very frustrating. They would certainly NOT be good in an earth quake. I have installed Ikea cabinets a long time ago and we did not have this problem.

Section plastic legsElaineDon’t waste your money on these plastic legs. They fall out easily and break when you are trying to place the cabinet against the wall. Get the stainless steel legs instead. They screw in place and are much more stable.
Great ProductCarlosGreetings, i have been installing IKEA cabinets for about 30 years now, also im a certified Installer, means i know all the system like the palm of my hand, the legs can hold a lot of weight, i have never have any issues or customer calling me back regarding this product, if you installed right, you wont have no problems, also their is other alternatives to add to the legs to make them more stronger.
Lost legend Anonymous reviewerI got them in 2008 while replacing my kitchen cabinets, they are unbreakable till now. The reason for bad reviews now is more likely poor quality of material Ikea uses, got few plastic items from ma y years ago, recently bought the same thing from IKEA- the NEW broken / the OLD still works
