Great cabinetKarlaThis cabinet is part of my new kitchen and I am glad I went the IKEA way. I put the cabinets together myself and had someone else do the rest. The cabinets are designed to be square and are a good buy. The installation went without any problems. There was a small area open because of the size of the kitchen and the unusual equipment installed, so there is now a little cubby hole with door for a stepping stool. Because IKEA has extra sheets of material available, these little inventive ideas fit right in and nobody will know that the little cabinet was an afterthought.
Bottom of shelf sagged badly within a few months.Anonymous reviewerI have a 36-wide Sektion cabinet above my refrigerator that I filled with vases after I moved in. I'm not sure when the sagging started, but it couldn't have been more than 6 months before the middle portion was a good half-inch lower than the corners at the sides. While the vases are heavy, they're not nearly as heavy as if I'd filled the cabinet with dishes or pantry items. Once I noticed the problem, I re-arranged things so as to fill the cabinet with light-weight baskets. However, it is ridiculous to make cabinets out of materials that cannot perform the functions that kitchen cabinets are supposed to fulfill. I'm having a similar problem with the drawers – I put dishes in a base cabinet drawer, and the draw started looking lower on one side (the crack above the top of the drawer face was widening). As a result, I now keep some of the drawers partly empty, to avoid having too much weight in them. Needless to say, this is disappointing. I love the way the cabinets look; but the limited functionality raises a serious objection.

They're deep enough to store the bulkier cleaning/laundry items that are usually hard to find a storage spot for. Also, makes it easier to reach laundry supplies over the washer! Perfect for the application I purchased them for!
