Works greatDrummondThis is a great little light. We purchased it for a coat closet and it has worked flawlwssly. It comes on as soo as the door opens and turns off as soon as it closes.. mounting was a little tricky but this is like a lot of Ikea products they have a lot of potential to be used for purposes which are not as advertised.
Do not buy!GeorginaI bought MISSMYRA lighting this week for my MILSBO display cabinets. I installed the lighting according to the instructions with the 3M sticker pads two days ago. I applied pressure for the required time and more to be safe. Today one of the lights detached and fell down inside the cabinet, onto my delicate 18th century antiques which I display into the cabinet. I think you need to seriously rethink how MISSMYRA is attached to cabinets as people may be storing valuables in their cabinets which can get damaged easily. I would be surprised if I’m the only one with this problem. If I buy a simple IKEA light I should not have to brainstorm about how to keep it attached and buy additional products to stop it from crashing onto my valuables. That is your job.
Do not buy this!GeorginaThis lighting is only attached with 3M double sided strips. No screws or anything else. I attached it to my metal MILSBO display cabinet according to the instructions and it fell down within a day and broke one of my antiques I display in the cabinet. Only buy these lights if you’re willing to screw holes into your cabinets/closets and buy additional hardware to attach them. Such a bad design! I really wonder how that got through quality control.
