There were more larger screw plugs and the plugs were a sturdier white plastic material. The clear plugs this version has can buckle if you’re not careful pressing them in. These work fine but the ratio of large to small plugs, ratio of screws to plugs, and the quality of plugs is not as good as a previous version of this product. 3

Good but Fixa was betterJingyangThese get the job done and nicely paired with the Trixig drill bit set to drill pilot holes into wood studs. However, I liked the old Fixa ones better. The Fixa set had more screw sizes and a more robust box. Also, the color illustrations of the screws and plugs in different wall materials on this site are great but wish they were reproduced or an equivalent printed in the paper reference that comes with the kit. Color of the trixig box is more pleasing.4

Great option for ikea furniture AnonymousI wish I knew how to use all of these baubles. However, for ikea specific furniture, I am happy that they supply the tools needed to hang pretty much any ikea find that requires wall hanging. Haven't tried it yet so that is why it gets 3 stars for 'works as expected.'4
Bring back the old version with removable rimsFengThe old version anchors had rims that could be easily removed from the main plugs and thus the plugs would sit flush against or slightly below the wall surface, which made removal and patch up so much easier than any other drywall anchors. For that reason alone I had always turned to the IKEA version whenever I needed wall anchors over the years even if there were anchors that came with the furniture pieces. My giant box of ikea anchors finally ran out recently. I got this box as a replacement, only to find out that they have changed the design and the rims are no longer removable! They are the same as any other anchors. I don’t have a reason to use them instead of whatever anchors that come with the furniture anymore. Please, bring back the old version! 2
