Assembly was a nightmare, not advised as a first time project.KristenI've assembled dozens of IKEA's furniture and this one was by far the most difficult. It started out just fine until I started on the frame. While I suppose the unique large "cams" that pull in and hold the pins appear to be very sturdy, it turned out to be the most fussy to get it right. Aligning the slot between halves and keeping the arrow aligned with the PIN was quite difficult, taking over three hours just to assemble the frame. My solution following enough language that would have made a sailor blush, it took finessing the PIN insertion just enough into the hole to provide a tactile feel as the "cam" is pushed in. Too far and it didn't allow complete cam insertion. I also "painted" the arrow using a black Sharpe to make it more visible. Total assembly time was about 5 hours. The rest of the assembly was relatively easy when compared to the frame. The wood support slats were a bit fussy and finding a small enough Phillips screwdriver for the tiny screws proved challenging.
THE WORST PRODUCT IVE EVER SPENT MY MONEY ON!!!!!!!!!!!TykeriaLiterally, the worst bed frame that could ever be brought. No support on the bottom what so ever. The minute we put the bed on the frame and tested it out to lay on it. It broke almost immediately. The slats are sold separately and are also terrible quality. And because i am 2hrs away from the nearest store and i tore the box open trying to get to the frame i can’t even return it. Save your money and chose a different frame. IKEA if your reading this-come get this crappy frame and give me back my money PLEASE !
Awful - doesn't come with required bed base and mattress sinks inKeisukeIt looks good as you assemble but you would expect Ikea to warn you about needing a bed base when purchasing or at least notify you that it could cause some issue. My mattress sinked in and broke the bottom crosses attached to it - I'm currently using a luggage below my mattress to have a base.
