Poor StandardsSimonBroken metal support (will have to waste time and energy ordering a replacement so I can actually use my shelf). All three shelves damaged in one corner (this issue has been reported by multiple reviewers and not addressed by Ikea). Annoying stickers attached to each shelf that I had to waste a lot of time to peel off with most of the residue.
Unnecessary StickersKymBought two shelves to add to my bookshelves. They were wrapped in a thin plastic but were not torn. After unwrapping them, I realized they had very cheap stickers on them that leave residue on the product. After spending $30 on two new shelves, I now have to clean sticky residue off them that is not easy to get off.

Billy Bookcase ShelvesLucindaThe shelves were needed to provide additional storage in the Billy bookcases, which only come with a limited number of shelves. My only negative experience was the quality of the packaging (item ordered online) which did not prevent the shelving corners from sustaining some damage when the package was dropped by the shipping company. While damage was minor and is currently camouflaged at the back of the shelf, my purchase was for undamaged goods.
