Billy Bookcase ShelvesLucindaThe shelves were needed to provide additional storage in the Billy bookcases, which only come with a limited number of shelves. My only negative experience was the quality of the packaging (item ordered online) which did not prevent the shelving corners from sustaining some damage when the package was dropped by the shipping company. While damage was minor and is currently camouflaged at the back of the shelf, my purchase was for undamaged goods.

Excellent productIrynaI must be honest,I have never shopped in IKEA before,was under impression that is poor quality,was I wrong. I ordered a shelving unit that I needed lots of shelves for my shoes,it came with only five shelves,I was so pleased to find out I could buy extra sheaves with hardware for my particular unit so I didn’t have to custom order shelves. I was so pleased with my experience that I ordered a closet unit from them. Just wow!!!
Ok the shelves are mostly fine but...KenThe people who pack them need to be WAY more careful! Ot ling ago i ordered Billy Oxberg which these extra shelves are for. And just like one of those shelves they had a chip in them. The replacement shelf has a small chip right in the front left. Packing is simple...Dont scratch or damage while packing and if you do, REPLACE IT SO I DONT HAVE TO AGAIN!

OkMiriamThe quality of the shelf matches what came with the billy bookcase, but two of the four brackets that the shelf sits on came totally bent and smashed and are impossible to bend back into shape. I was able to order extras of the part for free but it's 7-10 business days to receive. Not super happy that I have to wait 2+ weeks for something that should have been an easy assembly.
