There is a recessed area on the top of the cabinet that you can use to place small things, like your keys, coins and mobile phone.
The door is easy to remove when you want to clean inside the cabinet.

Space saver De'ShaylaI put 4 of these in my laundry room to store my shoes because I unfortunately don't have a mud room. I work in healthcare so shoes must come off at the door, because yuck. They are incredibly thin so they take up little to no room and fit perfectly on my wall but still hold a decent amount of shoes (3/4 pairs). Way more storage than you'd think!CynthiaThese are fantastic for laundry room, kids' closets or rooms, casual mud rooms. Hanging them can be a bit since you have to measure your screw placement carefully if you do a lot of them. You can fit a brilliant amount of cleaners in there. We've use them for small tools, cleaning clothes, craft supplies, out of season decor, mementos, picture frames... just odd stuff. A lot of people use them for shoes. Great space saver. Our old house had a wall of them in two of the walk in closets that would have been dead space. If you build out to eye level it can be a handy shelf.
