Cardboard idea: a playful privacy wall
Got lots cardboard? We do! Whether it’s a castle or a fort, this foldable wall creates a cute space for alone time and play time. It’s an idea that graduated from our Square Metre Challenge. Check it out for more ideas on how a family can do their own thing in the same room.

Try it out before you cut, so you can plan to use a natural corner as a foldable side. Then use scissors (or maybe a boxcutter) to cut out some windows and towers. Tie it onto the legs of your sofa—ours is a sofa made from mattresses. Ta-dah!
We love to see our customers get creative with our products. Go for it! But please note that altering or modifying IKEA products so they can no longer be re-sold or used for their original purpose, means the IKEA commercial warranties and your right to return the products will be lost.
