This is an introductory appointment, designed to be the first step in your IKEA kitchen journey. During this appointment, our kitchen expert will discuss:
- The kitchen planning process and timeline.
- Product range and pricing information.
- Our other kitchen services, including installation.
For online appointments, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to join a video call. No software downloads are required.
Note: This appointment does not include any 3D planning.

Book a kitchen planning appointment where our kitchen expert will:
- Provide recommendations for optimizing your layout and storage.
- Guide you in selecting cabinets, countertops and more.
- Create a plan with 3D software, using your selections.
- Prepare a plan, a product list and price estimates for your kitchen and additional services.

Book an in-home kitchen planning appointment where our kitchen expert will:
- Take all necessary measurements and document your kitchen’s complete layout, including utility lines.
- Guide you in selecting cabinets, countertops and more.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing your layout and storage.
- Create a plan with 3D software, using your selections.
- Prepare a plan, a product list and price estimates for your kitchen and additional services.
*If you choose our installation services to complete your project, the $199 fee will be applied toward the cost of installation.
Kitchen plan verification

This is a final appointment, designed to be the last stop on your IKEA kitchen journey. During a kitchen plan verification appointment, our kitchen expert will:
- Review and verify your existing plan.
- Confirm inventory.
- Place your order.
For online appointments, you will receive a confirmation email with your appointment start time and a link to join a video call. No software downloads are required.

The process of scheduling an in-home appointment with one of our measurement technicians is quick and easy. This service ensures that correct measurements are taken and documented, including details such as outlets, plumbing and more.

- Get an overview of the process. Check out 5 steps to buying a kitchen to better understand what’s involved in planning a new kitchen from measuring to installing.
- Book an appointment and arrange a one-on-one planning meeting.
- Measure your kitchen space and document the required specifications. It’s critical this step is done correctly at the start to avoid costly surprises later. If you're unsure, we offer a kitchen measurement service.
During and after a kitchen planning meeting
- Have your kitchen measurements, specifications, dream/frustration lists and favorite inspirational ideas to your planning meeting.
- Our kitchen expert will help tackle everything from finding a door/cabinet front you like to designing a layout that meets your needs and wants. You’ll get a 3D design, a product list, a kitchen quote and estimates for additional services that can make life even easier (like delivery and installation).
