IKEA recalls ISDANS, TUPPLUR and ENJE Roller Blinds for repair

If you have an ENJE, TUPPLUR or ISDANS Roller Blind please check that the tension device provided with the blinds is attached to the looped bead chain and installed into the wall or floor.

The tension device reduces the risk of entanglement or strangulation to young children by limiting access to the bead chain. If the tension device is not attached to the wall or floor, there is a risk that young children may pull the bead chain around their necks.

If the tension device is not attached, consumers should immediately stop using the blinds and visit the Returns and Exchanges Department at their local IKEA store or call toll-free (800) 434-IKEA to receive a free repair kit. Repair kits will be available from the second week of November.

IKEA has not received any reports of injuries or incidents involving its roller blinds.
