What can I do with a stripped screw?
You may still be able to unscrew a stripped screw by placing a wide rubber band, flat side down, between the screwdriver and the stripped screw, and then removing as normal.
One of the most common issues encountered during assembly is a stripped screw. If you need to remove a stripped or incorrect screw trying using a rubber band. Simply place a wide rubber band, flat side down, between the screwdriver and the stripped screw and remove as normal. Most of the time this will work.
