How do I know when a product will be back in stock in the store?

Restock dates depend on the item and the location, see below for more details.

We encourage customers to check online to determine product availability prior to visiting an IKEA store.

Ways to check store stock availability:

  • Check IKEA.com or the IKEA app to see product availability at a local store before visiting. The stock information is accurate and updated frequently.
  • Contact us via phone and chat to provide stock information. However, it's best to use the website or the app if there are high call volumes and long wait times.
  • If the information is available, an estimated restocking date may be listed on the page.

How to get updates on stock availability:

  • Visit the product's page on our website, on the page select the "notify me" option to sign up.
  • Choose to be notified via email or text.
  • Confirm which store you'd like to be notified for, a separate notification must be set up for each location and each product.

Additional information about stock availability:

  • Products are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, we are not able to hold any items.
  • "Low Stock" typically means the inventory of that item is less than five. Items that are low in stock may or may not be available based on customers shopping at the store.
