I was approved for an IKEA Visa card. When can I start making purchases?

Customers who apply for our Visa credit card in store will receive a temporary shopping pass upon approval and their actual card will arrive via USPS in 7-14 business days.

Customers who apply for and are approved for our Visa credit card online must wait for their physical card to arrive. Temporary shopping passes are only available to customers who apply in store.

Customers who apply for and are approved for our Visa credit card in store will receive a temporary shopping pass. These passes can be used in store only and cannot be used online. While the temporary shopping pass is valid for 7 days, your new actual credit card will arrive in the mail in 7-14 business days.

Please note that the pass can only be used up to 4 times during this period, and you'll have a maximum spending limit of $1,500. If your approved credit limit falls under $1,500, then the approved limit becomes your maximum amount with the pass.
