Why was my favorite IKEA product discontinued?

IKEA products are not necessarily discontinued because of any sales or consumer demand but for product development. This process allows IKEA to open space to introduce new products to the range offered to our customers.

We're constantly evaluating our products to keep our range fresh and exciting. Occasionally, this means discontinuing items or redesigning past favorites.
