Does IKEA make donations to those in need?

IKEA supports organizations that align with its focus areas: increasing access to better homes, opening pathways to decent employment, and providing emergency relief. They collaborate with local, national, and global organizations for volunteer and disaster relief efforts, including Save the Children, Family Promise, and the American Red Cross. Individual requests cannot be supported.

In order to maximize the positive impact IKEA has in our local communities, we focus on supporting organizations whose missions align with the IKEA focus areas in our local neighborhoods: 

  • Increasing access to better places to call home
  • Opening pathways to decent employment
  • Emergency relief

We also work with local, national, and global organizations for volunteer and disaster relief efforts and support large projects with our partners at Save the Children, Family Promise and the American Red Cross. Unfortunately, we're not able to support individual requests.
