What is IKEA Kreativ?
IKEA Kreativ is a free virtual room designer that lets you see IKEA furniture and décor in your own space before you buy.
Use it in the IKEA app on iOS https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ikea/id1452164827 or Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ingka.ikea.app, or on IKEA.com https://www.ikea.com/us/en/home-design/. There are three ways to use it:
Design Your Own Space
Snap or upload a photo of your room in the IKEA app or upload a photo on the web. Erase your existing furniture, then add and swap in new pieces from the catalog.
Build a 3D Room
In the IKEA app, scan your whole room (LiDAR-enabled devices only) to build it in 3D. On the web, use the room builder to manually enter your room's dimensions instead; no scanning needed.
Explore Virtual Showrooms
Browse 50+ pre-built rooms for inspiration. Choose a furnished room and swap out items or start with an empty room and design from scratch.
What's not supported yet
- Textiles (curtains, pillows, blankets, tablecloths)
- Ceiling-mounted items (pendant lamps, curtain rods)
- Components (handles, hinges)
- Full kitchen design — use the Kitchen planner https://kitchen.planner.ikea.com/us/en/
