IKEA TEXT MESSAGING PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These IKEA Text Messaging Program Terms and Conditions (“Texting Terms”) apply to your participation in the IKEA North America Services, LLC, including its affiliates, (“IKEA,” “we” or “us”) text messaging program (the “Program”). Your participation in the Program constitutes your express consent to receive automated text messages (e.g., SMS messages and MMS messages) from IKEA at the mobile number you provided, including text messages that may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. By signing up for the Program, you agree to these Texting Terms, to the U.S. IKEA Privacy Policy found at: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/customer-service/privacy-policy/ (“Privacy Policy”), and the U.S. IKEA website Terms and Conditions found at: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/customer-service/terms-conditions/ (“Website Terms and Conditions”), which are each incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Texting Terms, you must immediately discontinue your participation in the Program by following the below cancellation instructions.

Program Details

The Program may include recurring and nonrecurring text messages related to phone number verification, password resets, promotions, sweepstakes, giveaways, VIP event invites, products, purchases, returns, recalls, events, event check-ins, gift registry discounts, cart reminders, special offers, or other IKEA-related news, as well as other information that we think will be of interest to you. Message frequency will vary. IKEA reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time, so as to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. IKEA also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number from which messages are sent. Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

Not all mobile devices or handsets may be supported, and our messages may not be deliverable in all areas. IKEA, its service providers, and the mobile carriers supported by the Program are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Texts from +1 (202) 967-1891 are transactional only and sent for services you request (like order updates, pickups, returns, or reminders). These messages and alerts are separate from marketing or promotional texts and will not be sent from 62078. Your marketing opt-in/out does not affect these service messages, and IKEA teams cannot modify your marketing subscription through this number.

When you opt-in to the service, IKEA will send you a message to confirm your signup. Text “ADD” to 62078 to opt-in to marketing updates that contain information about new products and collections, promotional content, online and offline events. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Text "HELP" to 62078 for help.

You can cancel this service at any time. Just text "STOP" to 62078. After you send the message "STOP" we will send you a reply message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending messages to you again. Message frequency varies.

No mobile information will be shared with or sold to third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties. 

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Participating Carriers

The content of our messages may not be available and viewable on all mobile phone carriers. Carriers we are able to deliver messages to include, without limitation, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, and MetroPCS. IKEA reserves the right to add or remove eligible mobile phone carriers from the Program from time to time. Cancellation You may opt out of the Program at any time. Text the keyword STOP, CANCEL, QUIT, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, or OPT-OUT to the phone number or short code that messaged you to cancel your participation in the Program. After texting STOP, CANCEL, QUIT, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, or OPT-OUTS to the phone number or short code that messaged you, you will receive one additional message confirming that your request has been processed. You may also manage your text messaging preferences through your IKEA Family account once you sign in by going to “Manage your account” followed by clicking on “Preferences” and then clicking on “Edit” should you wish to update your SMS preferences.

You acknowledge that our text message platform may not recognize and respond to unsubscribe requests that do not consist of the STOP, CANCEL, QUIT, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, or OPT-OUT keyword commands and agree that IKEA and its service providers will have no liability for failing to honor such requests.
