Great cabinetDeannaWe have had this cabinet for our recycling for 6 years and it continues to work wonderfully. We just use two paper store bags, one for Oregon Bottle Return recycling, the other for general recycling and glass goes in between the two bags. no complaints. The Bodbyn white front is super easy to clean and we do not have any chips or knicks anywhere in the kitchen yet. Had an Ikea Installer partner do the installation and it worked great. 5
Buyer BewareAnonymousThe website never specified that the drawer fronts are sold separately. I expected everything needed will be in the box as shown. I went to the IKEA store, thirty miles away from my house. I was told that the kitchen base cabinet DRAWER FRONTS are sold separately. I'm willing to buy the cabinet fronts and I needed six at $24.00 each but they were out of stock till December. I decided to return all of my orders. I ordered one corner cabinet with the folding door and was told the hinge for the folding door is also sold separately. So I returned all the four base cabinets that I ordered and already assembled. I'm still waiting for IKEA to pick them up since they were all ordered online. This is like ordering a new car online and when the car was delivered the doors were not attached to the car because the hinges were sold separately. Same with the front of the car which was missing because it was also sold separately. Just an analogy of IKEA's terrible marketing strategy.You think I will buy again from IKEA? Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
