Miserable assembly experience for mediocre resultsThomasI've been building IKEA furniture for a quarter of a century and never hated anything more than I hate these. They're simple to put together but nearly impossible to make work properly - they rub or they don't close cleanly and they look like trash. The adjustment is difficult and, as other reviews say, eventually you break the cheap particle board and you're screwed. Never, never again.
Very cheap qualityMeganThese are so hard to install and I’m fairly handy. If you have to adjust it which it claims you can the particle board it is getting screwed into will just break. I ended up using wood filler and gorilla glue to keep them in and so now I can’t really use those doors. I guess they will just be decorative.
Looks good, but annoying to installPatriciaOnce installed, the door inserts look great. They really helps to give a cleaner look to the Kallax. However, the installation process itself required the assistance of a second person, because there are no pre-drilled holes in the Kallax unit that line up with the holes in the insert, so one person needed to hold the insert in place while the second person drilled the screw into the unit. With four inserts to install, this took longer than I thought it should have. However, as stated, the end result looks great. I just wish that this insert was something you could just slide in place - or that there were already pre-drilled holes in the Kallax to accomodate it.
Looks difficult to assemble, but isn’t!RebeccaThe instructions on this insert are extremely difficult to understand until you start putting it together. You do have to screw this one into the unit so be sure you know where you want to put it.

Cheap look and feel; save your moneyGregBought a couple of these to use on my Kallax cabinet. I assembled them and ended up just throwing them away. Chipboard is super cheap, doesn't hold its shape and actually felt like it dragged down the cabinet's aesthetic. I was really hoping for a solid door option for the cabinet, but will be looking elsewhere for that.
Do not purchaseJessicaI love IKEA furniture and was super happy when I saw these because I wanted to change up my shelves. Unfortunately, these and the ones that have 2 drawers do not sit properly within each “square” and it’s beyond frustrating because now I have holes in my shelves and now I have to return 4 products. This has been the worst purchase ever :(

Not 13x13MichelleIf they had the exact dimensions as 13.25, I would not have purchased this!!! Not one measurement on all the drawers and doors I purchased measured at exactly 13 inches. Now, I have to return them after spending $19 for shipping. Very upsetting!
