It is low profile and slides under the desk which I love, it feels good, and is very streamlined. I will validate there is no lumbar support, but other than that, I love it/5

The back of the first was incredibly crooked at its connection point to the frame, so I returned to the store and exchanged it. Took about 40 minutes at the store, plus the 30 there and 30 back. Why should I have to return and rebuild this a third time, wasting all that time and gas, for a product this expensive?1
Review after 6 years of useTweshI bought this chair back in 2018 and have used it regularly everyday since then. As a full remote worker, a comfortable chair is an essential tool. I’ve seen and sat in chairs 3x the price but I love sturdiness and consistent comfort of this chair. It still feels as comfortable as it did the first day. What are leathers, skins and hides?

Leather is a durable material that we strive to produce as responsibly as possible. That’s why we only use by-products from the food industry and we have requirements for traceability to slaughterhouses, thereby ensuring ethically correct slaughters. The materials are then treated so that they’re usable for home decoration products. In this process we don’t allow the use of chrome, which is potentially harmful to both humans and the environment.

Designer thoughts

The challenge with ALEFJÄLL swivel chair was to combine retro style from the 1950s with the demands on function and comfort we have today. It is fully adjustable to your body, without looking technical, so it fits at home as well as in the office. I think chairs should look good from behind and I am particularly pleased with how the adjustable backrest integrates with the metal frame. ALEFJÄLL is comfortable, reliable and convivial – functional and stylish at the same time.
