When should your toddler have their own room?
Moving to the first very own room is a big step for any child – as for the parents! The baby cot is replaced with a space-saving toddler bed, even if it’s equipped with some small-child-safety-things like a guard rail. The floor might not look different from any other floor, but in this room it’s the centre of the world and the base for all activities.
Many parents find that around age 2–3 is a natural time for toddlers to start exploring more independence — especially with the right setup, like a cosy bed, playful storage, and easy-access furniture.
This transition can be smooth and exciting for everyone. Let’s make their room a fun place!
