This tabletop is suitable to use with legs from our Build Your Own Desk range. It's not suitable to use with underframes from our office range (like MITTZON, TROTTEN or IDÅSEN).

Care

Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Safety and compliance

This table has been developed and tested for home use and is not suitable for installation of a screen stand. Maximum evenly distributed weight is 50 kg. Do not place concentrated weight exceeding 15 kg on a small surface on the table.This table has been developed for home use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 12521 and EN 1730.

WHY?? ADILS + LINNMONJohannaPutting a table together should be the EASIEST TASK IN ALL OF FURNITURE ASSEMBLING. Was this combination easy? NO. WHY? Pre-drilled holes were too small, the screws provided were almost long enough to go through the top. One leg has 5 screws. 4 legs meant 20 screws. I ended up buying 40 screws on a Saturday morning because pre-screwed holes were too small and if I had drilled holes big enough, I would have 20 holes on top of the table.1

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
