Improved designAnonymous reviewerI can see there are additional plastic stud added between the main screws. This new design may have addressed an old flaw to strengthen the stool legs. The previous design only lasted 6 years, and the legs are made of multi laminated wood. These lamination came apart and the stool looses its structure.5

Good balance and space savingKhorI have 5 of these stools. It is space efficient as I can stack it all up when not in use. Also, when getting stools, always go with 3-legged ones for good balance. It does not rock and is quite stable.5
