This dope-dyed polyester cover has a soft surface, slight lustre and a discreet herringbone pattern. The cover is easy to remove and machine wash, so you can enjoy the sofa without worrying about spills.

This cover is made of Tibbleby, a soft dope-dyed polyester fabric with a slight lustre and a discreet herringbone pattern.

Extra covers to alternate with mean it's easy to give both your sofa and room a new look.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

Safety and compliance

The cover has a lightfastness level of 5-6 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

Sofa cover for Kivik sofaCorinneGreat. I decided to dress my old Kivik sofa with fabric cover instead of upholstery to save costs. Fits my old Kivik leather sofa perfectly. Easy to fit except the back cushions which were really tough due to small zipper opening. I would suggest to Ikea to make the 2 back cushion covers like the seat cushion covers - with U-shaped zipper opening. Need to get some velcro tape as my original leather sofa does not come with velcro (leather was stapled to the sofa sponge linings and wooden structure.5
