A sofa by day and a bed for one – or two – by night. The two large drawers give plenty of space for duvets, pillows and bed linen. A smart solution when you live in a small space.

With some soft, fluffy pillows as back support, you easily transform this day-bed into a comfortable sofa or chaise longue.

Transform your sofa into a single bed in no time and maximise the use of floor space. Perfect for a teenager's bedroom or where you don't have a lot of space.

With this day-bed you quickly and easily create space for overnight guests. Just pull out the bed base and you get a double bed in no time.

The large drawers have space for extra duvets, pillows, linens or other things you need to store, but want to have close at hand.

This simple design fits together with many different styles. Keep it as it is or create a cosy corner with lots of pillows.

  • The daybed must be combined with two mattresses, 80x200. They are placed on top of each other when you use the daybed as a single bed, and next to each other when you use it as a double bed.

    Combines with other furniture in the BRIMNES series.

    Mattress and bedlinen are sold separately.

    Slatted bed base is included.

    The day-bed is not to be used as two single beds, it should only be used as a double bed when the bed base is pulled out.

    Care

    Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.

Well built IKEA BrimnesMuhammadOut of the box, assembly required meticulous attention to the instruction manual. Once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze. Proper tools will be advantageous. Product is what the daughter wanted. From the way I see it. Theres some sharp edges that can be prone to knocks. Perhaps IKEA can address that with those corner bumpers. Or make the edges rounded.5

Been eyeing for this in months. At first I was so hesitant if I should buy hemnes or brimnes. Both are nice but I find this more simpler. Had a difficulty with assembly and yet materials are good quality!
