Three party-promoting tips

It’s the little things that make the party – especially when you don’t have much room to begin with. See how you can combine function and fun with these tips helping guests to feel welcome, look up from their screens, and even to find their match.

1. The vertical refreshment stand

A versatile surface to begin with, a pegboard is an ideal ally for a small-space party. It can easily be tailored for different purposes, it gets things out of the way, and its placement can create an eye-catching display when needed. Like for keeping bar accessories in check above your welcoming drink stand.

2. The screen saver

To encourage social interaction (without the media filter), make your guests part with their screens for the evening. To minimise protests, charging facilities are likely a key prerequisite.

3. The matchmaker

Besides adding to the party decorations, let your pegboard be a switchboard for human contact. Lure your guests over with a drink, then let them pick their neighbour at the table – or simply conversation partner – from the wall-mounted selection.
