They are tested and approved for use in ovens up to 220°C, making them a safe and versatile choice in the kitchen.
What does it mean that a cookware is oven safe?
Oven safe cooking means that it can be used directly in the oven without being damaged, as long as you stay within the specified temperature limit. This applies to pots, pots and pans that are made of materials that can withstand heat, such as stainless steel, aluminium or stoneware.
Important to keep in mind:
- Temperature limit: Max 220°C – do not exceed this temperature to avoid damage to materials or coating.
- Handles and lids: Check that the handles and lids are also oven-safe. Some plastic parts may have lower heat resistance.
- Product labeling: Always read the product information or the label on the bottom to be sure of what applies to your particular model.
