Why is the water not getting the right temperature from my mixer tap?

Some of our mixer taps have a function called “cold start”, which prevents unnecessary hot water waste and helps you save energy. If your mixer tap does not have this function, or if hot water flows when you turn it towards cold, or vice versa, this is usually due to an installation error. In such cases, we recommend contacting a qualified plumber to check the installation.

Hot and cold water are supplied to your mixer tap through two separate pipes. If your mixer tap has a function called “cold start”, this means it always begins by running cold water rather than hot, in order to prevent hot water waste and save energy. If cold water flows when you turn the tap to hot, and vice versa, this may be due to the connections being incorrectly installed. In such cases, it is advisable to contact a qualified plumber to check the installation and ensure everything is working as it should.
