Has KAJPLATS replaced TRÅDFRI LED bulb?
Yes, KAJPLATS has replaced TRÅDFRI. But will continue to work with your existing smart system from IKEA.
In January 2026, larger parts of the smart range at IKEA were replaced. Where, among other things, our smart LED bulbs TRÅDFRI were replaced by KAJPLATS. But this doesn't mean that you'll have to replace all your other smart products. KAJPLATS will seamlessly continue to work with your existing smart products!
The replacement is mainly due to making us more secure for the future and for our smart lights to be compatible with Matter.
