Can I supplement or replace my kitchen lighting?
We offer different types of kitchen lighting, depending on the look and lighting you want to create in your kitchen. The ability to supplement your lighting depends on the power supply you have today and whether you have a METOD kitchen or a FAKTUM kitchen.
If you have integrated lighting that is connected to a TRÅDFRI driver for wireless control, you can supplement your kitchen lighting as needed. You don't need to replace any existing components.
If you have integrated lighting that is connected to an ANSLUTA driver or an ANSLUTA remote control, you will need to replace the driver with a TRÅDFRI driver for wireless control. You also need to add the FÖRNIMMA connection cable and BILRESA remote control.
If you have UTRUSTA kitchen lighting and one or more light sources have stopped working, the entire lighting unit needs to be replaced. UTRUSTA has integrated light sources that cannot be replaced separately and is connected as a fixed installation without a driver.
If you have a FAKTUM kitchen and want to replace your lighting, there are several options in our current range. MITTLED spotlights work great with FAKTUM cabinets, SKYDRAG, KÖLVATTEN and ROLFSTORP can also be used in FAKTUM kitchens. Keep in mind that SKYDRAG is slightly shorter than the width of the cabinet frame, which leaves a visible gap between the LED strips.
