Do I need to have a floor protector under the fridge and freezer?
Floor protection must always be used when installing freestanding fridges, freezers, dishwashers or other appliances, such as wine coolers, where water leaks could cause damage to the floor. If the appliance is installed within a cabinet frame, a shelf protector should be used instead.
If the appliance is built into a cabinet, a shelf protector should be used instead. Place the shelf protector at the bottom of the cabinet frame.
