Does LILLVIKEN water trap fit my sink?
LILLVIKEN water trap can be used with most of the IKEA sinks. Enlarge this answer to read more about how LILLVIKEN is installed with our different sinks and which sinks are not compatible with LILLVIKEN.
Old sinks + LILLVIKEN
The following items are not compatible with LILLVIKEN as they are adapted for our older water trap called ATLANT which we do not have a replacement for in today's range.

- DOMSJÖ FAKTUM doubles (100.491.43)
- BOHOLMEN sink 1 sink 60 x 63,5 (902.805.91)
- BOHOLMEN sink 1 sink 80 x 63.5 (702.805.92 and 202.225.47)
- BOHOLMEN 1 ho 56 x 55 (202.021.15)
- BOHOLMEN 1 ho 76 x 55 (202.021.20)
- BOHOLMEN 2 hoar 77 x 50 (501.142.21)
DOMSJÖ sinks
- DOMSJÖ single + LILLVIKEN 1 ho: An extra-long screw for the overflow with spare part number 148974 is included in DOMSJÖ.
The screw that comes with the flood protection for the LILLVIKEN water trap cannot be used for the DOMSJÖ sink and needs to be replaced with the screw 148974, which is extra long.
Note that the screw 148974 cannot be ordered as a spare part from IKEA and needs to be reused when replacing the water trap. It is the same screw in the bottom valve for DOMSJÖ as for all other sinks. - DOMSJÖ double + LILLVIKEN 2 sinks: An extra overflow and two extra long screws for the flood protection in DOMSJÖ are included. The overflow has the spare part number 148962 and the screws 148974. The screw that comes with the overflow for the LILLVIKEN water trap can't be used for the DOMSJÖ sink but needs to be replaced with the screw 148974 which is extra long.
Note that the screw 148974 cannot be ordered as a spare part from IKEA and needs to be reused when replacing the water trap. It is the same screw in the bottom valve for DOMSJÖ as for all other sinks. - DOMSJÖ built-in sink + LILLVIKEN 1 sink: A special overflow with spare part number 148965 is included in DOMSJÖ. In the picture in the instructions, we show that the rubber ring that belongs to the overflow is delivered loosely, but it can also be pre-mounted.
The upper part of the overflow supplied with LILLVIKEN is not used. Instead, use the overflow included with DOMSJÖ. - DOMSJÖ FAKTUM + LILLVIKEN: This solution and combination does not work because the screw to the water trap is too short in LILLVIKEN, and that the water trap that comes with DOMSJÖ is in the wrong dimensions.
HÄLLVIKEN sink
- HÄLLVIKEN 1 1/2 + LILLVIKEN: A special overflow with spare part number 148965 is included with HÄLLVIKEN. In the instruction image, we show that the rubber ring belonging to the overflow is delivered loose, but it may also be pre-mounted on the overflow. The upper part of the overflow supplied with LILLVIKEN is not used. Instead, use the overflow included with HÄLLVIKEN.
NORRSJÖN sink
- NORRSJÖN + LILLVIKEN 2 sinks: An extra overflow and a special screw for the overflow are included with NORRSJÖN. The overflow has spare part number 148962 and the screw 148973. Discard the screw for the overflow supplied with LILLVIKEN and replace it with screw 148974.
LÅNGUDDEN sink
- LÅNGUDDEN + LILLVIKEN 2 hooves: An extra overflow is included with LÅNGUDDEN. The overflow has spare part number 148962.
HILLESJÖN sinks
- HILLESJÖN 1 1/2 58X46 + LILLVIKEN 2 sinks: It comes with an extra flood protection in HILLESJÖN. The flood protection has the spare part number 148962.
- HILLESJÖN 1 1/2 75X46 + LILLVIKEN 2 sinks: An extra overflow is included with HILLESJÖN. The overflow has spare part number 148962. An additional part with spare part number 148966 is also included; this part is an extension for the large bowl.
Saw off the lower part of one overflow. This applies to the small bowl; follow the instructions.
HACKBOL/FORNBY sink for made-to-measure worktop
- HACKBOL/FORNBY + LILLVIKEN 1 ho: A special overflow with spare part number 148965 is included with the worktop. In the instruction image, we show that the rubber ring belonging to the overflow is delivered loose, but it may also be pre-mounted on the overflow. The upper part of the overflow supplied with LILLVIKEN is not used. Instead, use the overflow included with HÄLLVIKEN.
New sinks + ATLANT
NORRSJÖN 2 bowls, LÅNGUDDEN 2 bowls and HILLESJÖN 1½ bowls do not work with ATLANT. The reason they do not fit is that they have two overflows, which ATLANT does not support. Other sinks in IKEA’s range should work with ATLANT without any problems.
If you have another IKEA sink not mentioned above, it should work with LILLVIKEN without any issues.
