Why do the prices of IKEA products differ in different countries?

Prices may differ between countries as we adapt them to local conditions and demands to provide customers with the best possible value.

When IKEA develops new products, we develop a recommended price as a starting point. This price serves as a guide, but may differ by country. The reason is that each market looks different, for example in terms of competitors, currencies and economic conditions.
Therefore, the same product can sometimes have different prices in different countries. Our goal is always to set as fair, competitive and customer-friendly a price as possible, adapted to the conditions in each local market.
