Have IKEA products become more expensive?

At IKEA, we always strive to keep prices low. However, due to external circumstances, we increased prices on many of our products. Since late 2023, these costs have decreased which has given us the opportunity to lower our prices once again!

Affordability is and remains important for IKEA, with the focus always on a product range that is affordable for as many people as possible. Due to the significantly increased inflation caused by rising costs for energy, raw materials, packaging materials, and transportation, price increases in a part of our assortment and services are unfortunately unavoidable. Since the end of 2023, these costs have decreased and we can now lower the prices again for a large part of our range.

At IKEA, you can be sure that we will always honor a price quote for the period of time it is valid through.


Note that at times our stores and web shop can have specific offers and promotions on specific products which are dependent upon purchasing in that sales channel and according to those terms and conditions.
