Can I mount UTRUSTA push opener on a MAXIMERA drawer?
The UTRUSTA push opener is designed for use on a door. Our MAXIMERA drawers are equipped with a soft-closing function which would counteract the push open function.
UTRUSTA push opener are intended for doors only and are therefore not recommended for our MAXIMERA drawers. This is because the MAXIMERA drawers have an integrated soft-closing function that counteracts the function of the fitting.
For the MAXIMERA drawer in the sink cabinet, on the other hand, it is possible to add the UTRUSTA puch opener, electrical. It's a handy solution when you have your hands full and need easy access to your waste bins.
If you want a handleless kitchen with drawers that open with a push function, we instead recommend KNIVSHULT drawer together with KNIVSHULT push opener, as these products are designed to work together.
