Can I install a door as a drawer front in my METOD kitchen?
With the help of UTRUSTA fittings, you can install a door or front that is normally mounted with hinges on a drawer instead. We recommend using the fitting with a front that is no more than 60 cm wide and 60 cm high.
The recommended maximum dimensions for a door used with this fitting are 60 cm wide and 60 cm high.
If you have a MAXIMERA or EXCEPTIONELL drawer, you need to use the UTRUSTA fitting for mounting a drawer on a door, article number 202.699.31 (white).
If you have a KNIVSHULT drawer, use the UTRUSTA fitting for mounting a drawer on a door, article number 806.041.00 (black-grey).
This means that you can install larger fronts on the drawers in your METOD kitchen, even if they are not designated as "drawer fronts".
