What does the error message or alarm on my fridge and freezer mean?
To find out what your fridge or freezer error message means, you can check the product's user manual. You can also enlarge this answer to see the most common error messages and what the solution to them is.
If an alarm sounds or an error message appears on your refrigerator or freezer, it may be due to the following reasons:
Cause: Temperature warning because the cabinet has not reached the set temperature.
Solution: Check that the door is closed.
Cause: The magnet on the top edge of the door has been removed or forgotten to be moved during installation.
Solution: Replace the magnet on the top of the door. The purpose of the door magnet is to ensure that the lighting is switched on and off and that the door is kept closed. If the door magnet is not fitted, an alarm will indicate that something is wrong.
Cause: There is a temporary or permanent electrical fault.
Solution: Reboot the refrigerator by pressing the on/off button or by pulling out the plug. If the fault persists, contact Customer support centre.
