How does the holiday function work on refrigerators?
With the holiday function, you can keep the fridge running with low energy consumption for a longer period of time.
The temperature in the fridge is fixed at 12°C and the fan starts at regular intervals to prevent bad odours.
In a combined fridge and freezer, it is not possible to turn off the freezer section when activating the holiday function, but will work as usual and will maintain a temperature of -20°C.
Remember not to store any food in the refrigerator when the appliance is in holiday mode. Also, leave the refrigerator door open so that air can circulate better.
