Works Well, but Doesn’t Stay PutClickI liked the idea of this light and it looked great under my kitchen cabinets for the first few days. The brightness was perfect, and it really made the space look nicer. But I was pretty disappointed when it fell off after less than a week, even though I cleaned the surface before installing it. The light itself works fine, but the adhesive just isn’t reliable.
Battery SlotValuedI think the battery slot needs to fit the size of the battery more cause once they are inside its very loose you can hear the batteries moving if you shake the item. and once installed it wont turn on sometimes cause the batteries have moved and is not in its right position. so please adjust the slot

Bright and dimmable light, but unreliable energy sourceVinceThe light initially turned out great, but it cannot sustain itself on batteries alone. After a day or two, it would flicker then turn off after a few seconds upon turning it on. So now it works only when plugged to an electric outlet, which could be a bummer if you are planning to use this on batteries alone.

Does not work with the batteries inRikiI tried using these with Eveready batteries in and charging the unit with them in, only for the lights to flicker for a moment then turn off again. I turned the switch behind the 3M sticker slider to ON, charged the unit, and tapped/held the light switch button and everything. Ended up selling these lights to someone who won't mind using it wired because it's also not covered by the 365-day return policy. Worst purchase from IKEA, and I generally like everything I get from here.
