Brilliant dual-height design, but the wood panels are a bit of a mixed bagNiria Alcuriza Structurally and conceptually, the RESARÖ table is brilliant. Having a dining-height folding leaf on one side and a counter-height bar leaf on the other is a total lifesaver for small spaces, and the wheeled storage is incredibly practical.
As a personal nitpick, I was a bit disappointed by the aesthetic finish of the tabletop. While it is advertised as solid pine, the panels are pieced together from smaller strips of wood where the grain doesn't match up or continue naturally past the edges. To me, this gives it a slightly patchy, less seamless look than I was hoping for.
I didn’t quite catch this in the showroom because the display model looked a bit different (with a finish that actually looked like a print). Ultimately, if you aren't overly particular about perfectly matching wood grains, this likely won't bother you at all, and the pure utility of the table makes it well worth it. But if you're sensitive to those visual details, it's just something to keep in mind!
