You can quickly transform this multifunctional table from a slightly higher side table into a lower coffee table to suit all the different activities that take place around the sofa.
The smart design of the side table allows you to slide the table top over your lap and enjoy a proper dinner while watching TV, without risking spills or the underframe getting in the way of your legs.
Stable to eat on and with a table top that has enough room for a plate, glass and cutlery – and the table top is easy to wipe clean when you're done.
You transform the table by removing the table top from the underframe, turning the underframe on its side and then fixing the table top in place again by using the fasteners under the table top.

It is also quite easy to move it around. Assembling it took less than an hour, but attaching the metal hooks to the table top does require a second pair of hands.

Slightly wobbly, but not enough to be noticeable.
I previously purchased the BJÖRKÅSEN (the one with the cup holder) and can confidently say the OLSERÖD is better, despite not being foldable.
It feels more stable overall. I can comfortably rest my wrists on the table without worrying about it tipping over.
Regarding the cloth holder: It’s only suitable for light items. If you place anything heavy, it tips over easily. (I tried placing my phone + a powerbank)
I tightened the screws to reduce movement, but I’d still recommend avoiding anything fragile in that compartment, as it can be knocked over quite easily.

Great convertible side/laptop table for your living room!MichaelBought this for our sofa so that we can have a side table that can be stored flush to the sofa when needed.
PROS: It's nice and feels stable when used. Has a convenient pocket for remotes and an extension cord if you need to charge your devices. Best feature is that it can be converted into a mini coffee table in seconds by turning it on its side and moving the panel.
CONS: it tends to vibrate and bounce a little when moved. You can steady it of course with your hand but it's a little annoying.
